My wife Lonnie and I love to travel, and we often use the Internet to find information about lodging. While arranging trips, she noticed that large hotel chains have a very strong web presence, but equally deserving smaller establishments often do not. This can be frustrating for the traveler, for some of the most charming places and best deals are essentially shoved aside.
Having a "corporate" sized advertising and marketing budget makes it easy to have a web site, but that may not be the case with smaller independently-owned businesses. It's also possible that a busy owner, typically having to wear many hats, may not have the time to even think about setting up a web site, or may be hesitant to do so due to lack of technical knowledge.
Our mission is to make it a breeze for travelers to plan their trips and find those independent establishments that are currently hidden from view online. With our blog and web forum available for travelers to leave comments, they'll find it increasingly easy to figure out just which accommodations are right for them.
We'll be adding more features as the site grows, so stop back often to see whose businesses are listed on the site and who's telling us about their travel adventures!
Happy Traveling!
